Welcome to the first post of my new blogging account. Please bear with me as changes to style and format are made over the first few months, as it will take that long to settle into an overall that pleases me.


Who are you?
I am both Morncreek and Ransom, my nom-de-plume and gamer callsign, respectively. Throughout my life on the Web, I have been known by several different names... Please refer to my profile for more information.


What are my plans for this blogging?
I hope to make it a place of fun and happiness (hence the "Xanadu" part of the name of this account), but also as a commentary of serious matters, such as life, politics, news, et cetera (the "Perils in" part. It is my goal to make posts here worth the time it takes to read them. Another goal of mine is create a unique webpage in this vast world of the Web.


What projects are you involved in?
This is covered in my profile, but I will give a large blurb (there's an oxymoron) here. I haunt five different boards, the one I am most active in is known as Amidst The Stars. It is a place for enthusiasts of these genres: Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Transformers: Beast Wars. There also is a section for original writing and plain craziness. One roleplaying thread has sucked my soul into it. :) Click here to visit the first page of the story.

I am also trying to get my own Transformers: Beast Wars/Transformers: Armada fanfic off the ground.

I write both fan and original poetry. The fan poetry is hosted at FanFiction.Net; the original poetry by its sister site, FictionPress.Com.
